Home Sweet Home, a phrase that lingers in everyone's mind. But how sweet is sweet a home to us? And for some, Malay especially, the famous line is 'My Home, My Heaven'. But how do we know how heavenly our home is?
This is the site where we will discuss every aspect of home. Design, space, area, practicality, concept, arrangement, cost and perhaps, Feng shui. I will also try to have some reviews on home that I found anywhere that I think interesting to share with you guys, my dear readers.
Besides, I hope this will guide us in hunting our dream home or help us in garnering ideas for how will our new home looks like. There are many topics that should be touched. As a home lover I found it's hard to rationalize on which should I talk first as these all intriguing me. However I am expecting to talk about traditional and colonial homes and building in Malaysia.
I don't know how and I don't know what but I believe that old traditional homes and British colonial building in Malaysia give me some special feeling towards them. The classical look and unique touch make them very 'expensive' esthetically for those who know the value.
I will share my opinions and my findings in lengthy in my next issue. A number of traditional Malay homes will be on display here. I hope that the design and the functionality if old Malay homes will still be in today people thoughts each time they design or build a home.
